Our journey: a history of empowerment
Empowering Women, Building Dreams
United Success Global traces its roots back to 2008 when it was founded by the visionary Dutch entrepreneur and impact investor, Corinne Heijn. With a profound belief in the power of collective action, Corinne envisioned a platform that would connect like-hearted, game-changing women entrepreneurs and amplify their positive impact on an inclusive and sustainable world.
Corinne’s inspiration stemmed from recognizing the often solitary journey of established women entrepreneurs, with limited access to relatable business advice and barriers in expressing vulnerability due to cultural and personal obstacles. She firmly believed that by fostering a supportive and collaborative environment, women could create an unparalleled network of support and growth.
In her own words, “I want to leave the world behind in a better way… that’s what fulfils me most.” Her journey of self-discovery led her to identify her passions—entrepreneurship, other cultures, and women empowerment. This realisation fuelled her commitment to empower women globally, particularly those in developing countries.
Her pivotal encounter at the United Nations, where she expressed her desire to empower women in developing nations, propelled her into action. Corinne’s involvement with the Business Council for Peace reinforced her conviction that women’s economic independence is crucial for global progress. Witnessing firsthand the strength and determination of women to uplift themselves and their communities, she was further emboldened to create a platform where women could find solidarity, support, and the resources needed for their success.
Today, Corinne’s enduring beliefs remain at the heart of United Success Global’s purpose. We continue to carry forward her vision, fostering an environment where women entrepreneurs and impact investors can thrive, unite, and create a meaningful impact on the world around them.
