Unite-Connect and see growth!

It doesn’t matter how highly skilled and gifted we are, or even if we are experts in our fields, if we don’t know how to connect, relate and resonate with other people, then we are doomed. This is not only applicable to business, but throughout life too.

In good times and in bad, people who prosper are those who know how to connect and integrate with other like-minded people. They become part of a ‘click’.

Dr. Rick Kirschner calls this connection, ‘clickability’ – he says, “Click is that state of mind, that sense of self, where everything fits or falls into place. When things click you can enter the worldview of a person, and get in sync. When things click, you’re on the same wavelength. You and the other person are insiders to each other’s world. You get them. They get you”.

‘We resonate when we reduce differences and send signals of similarity” Kirschner goes on to explain that we resonate with people with whom we have current experiences in common. Getting married? Having a baby? Going through loss? Getting downsized? Running a business? Having staff problems? When you meet people who are going through similar issues as you are, or who are experiencing similar challenges and desires, the connection happens. It is instant and it is profound.

Irrespective of our cultural background, our age group, or our social status, our need to belong to a group and to get along with people is imperative for ‘success’ – no matter how you define it. When we have the skill to build relationships and networks of relationships, doors open widely! We have a myriad of options. There is no limit to what we can achieve.

How many clicks did you make this week?
