ROMANIA: A few superstitions
Romanians have myriads of customs, beliefs, and superstitions related to different events and times of the year. Here are a few Romanian superstitions: when a person praises a child, he or she should be wearing red. This can protect the child from misfortune. For this reason, in Romania horses are decorated with red threads as protection.
Another superstition dictates that bouquets must have an odd number of flowers. Avoid giving a dozen flowers to a person as bouquets with even numbers are for funerals or cemeteries.
And greeting someone over a threshold could cause your relationship to end soon. Instead, wait for them to enter your home or office.
