Create Global Brand Awareness!
Not all of us manage to have our imaginations fired by just the written word and in todays marketplace the written word isn’t the best way to involve a wider audience. Statistics are indicating that more and more companies are incorporating online videos into their marketing strategy with significant success.
This is a shift in thinking, as previously the idea of creating a company video was automatically dismissed as being a too costly and an unnecessary expense. Today, however, there are tools available at little or no cost for the creation of excellent quality video material and to have the 20+ million monthly viewers on YouTube as a potential viewing audience.
We have access to a good quality video camera on our mobile phone, most digital cameras have high-resolution video technology and there are online solutions for editing and storage. The opportunities created are endless and Forrester Research has demonstrated that companies with a video are 50 times more likely to gain an organic first page ranking with Google.
So why do we hesitate? Maybe it is unsettling to contemplate the vast global audience, maybe we worry about delivery capacity, could it be that we don’t consider ourselves an international “player”? Whatever the reason, the reality is that our business world is fast moving and fast changing and our business brand deserves to be offered an international platform – even if it is only to maintain credibility in our own marketplace!
